In just a short time my music has been in the finals of a Sprite contest, a movie/documentary, a mixtape and recently, I hit number 1 on the CASHBOX MAGAZINE TOP 10 INDIE R&B/HIP HOP CHARTS with a collab featuring 2mental and Jewelz. In June of '08, Block Scholar Entertainment/Slimdog Productions which features me, and my homies 2mental & NOBULL, signed a deal with CASHBOX RECORDS INC. On March 10, 2009, Block Scholars were selected for URB MAGAZINE'S NEXT 1000 HOTTEST ARTISTS ON THE RISE FOR 2009...Independent artists: IT CAN BE DONE!!! My show and our music has gained popularity and I have made contacts with top tier artists, djs and producers(indie and major) because of podomatic. If you are an artist, podcasting is a great way to go...try it. You never know what may happen!!! Just keep working hard and it will pay off in a BIG way, we are proof!!!
